Einerseits ein tolles Tool, womit man endlich die Performance seiner Webseite im Vergleich zu anderen Seiten aus der Branche (zwar anonymisiert, aber immerhin) sehen kann. Aber andererseits natürlich auch nicht uneigennützig – denn die Datenkrake, wie google auch gern genannt wird, sammelt selbstverständlich alle Informationen. Mit jedem Klick lernt uns google besser kennen. Unsere Interessen, Surfgewohnheiten, unser Einkäufe in diversen Online-Shops, unsere Termine und gmails ..

Die Weltherrschaft will google wohl doch nicht, aber die Infos über uns User erleichtert es google immens seine eigentliche Strategie, ein crossmediales Werbenetzwerk aufzubauen und auch andere Märkte und Medien zu erobern, zu verfolgen.

Vor allem da viele dieser neuen Werbekonzepte im Netz auf sehr persönlichen und sensiblen Informationen zu Nutzungsgewohnheiten etc. basieren. Facebook ist in den letzten Monaten eher negativ im Umgang mit dem Datenschutz aufgefallen, Kritik an google gabs schon vorher.
